Education Professor Explains Unjust Practices Behind College Admissions

The Chicago Tribune's investigation into clout in University of Illinois admissions continues to reveal more and more public officials who pulled rank to get underqualified students into the school. Dr. Mitchell Stevens is an education and sociology professor at Stanford University, and author of Creating a Class: College Admissions and the Education of Elites. He explains how much the U of I itself will have to explain.
