Chicagoans are abuzz over the NATO summit and the thousands of protesters expected to descend on the city in the coming days. To mark the occasion, Tony Sarabia and Richard Steele devote Music Thursday to protest songs, exploring everything from Civil Rights Movement classics to the contemporary tunes of the Occupy Movement.

Bucky Halker, a local folk musician who recently recorded a new album of original tunes and Woody Guthrie covers, stops by to play a few songs. And, Alex Billet, a music journalist who works with the Occupy Chicago Rebel Arts Collective, explains how musical movements align with contemporary activism.
