Father Michael Pfleger’s actions might lead many, including those in the archdiocese, to wonder does he follow God’s voice or his own. It’s no secret that the white leader of the predominately black St. Sabina Church in Chicago is influenced by Rev. Martin Luther King’s activism. His campaigns against urban blight have gained him national recognition. A new documentary, Radical Disciple, explores this activism and its clash with the archdiocese. Filmmaker and documentarian Bob Hercules discusses the project.
