In 2002, Pat Tillman left a career in the NFL to serve his country as a U.S. Army Ranger. It ended in tragedy when Tillman was killed by friendly fire in the hills of Afghanistan. It's the cover-up about the actual cause of death, however, that provides the tense action in the new documentary, The Tillman Story
