So we talked with former federal prosecutor Patrick Collins. He led the team of lawyers who won a conviction against former Illinois Governor George Ryan. He’s now in private practice, and Chicago Public Radio’s Robert Wildeboer recently chatted with him at his law firm.

Collins says, right now, prosecutors are probably trying to interview people who were caught on the phone with the governor, people who can lay out exactly what was going on in those conversations.
