The Pitchfork Music Festival kicks off today at Union Park on Chicago’s West Side. It’s the brainchild of a music criticism Website that’s become a barometer for many an indie music fan’s palette. But Pitchfork started from humble beginnings. WBEZ’s music critic Althea Legaspi recently chatted with founder Ryan Schreiber at a coffee shop in Wicker Park.
