Gov. Quinn Prepares to Pick Democratic Lt. Governor Nominee

Illinois Democrats are now just one day away from shaking off that nasty hangover caused by Scott Lee Cohen. The winner of the primary for lieutenant governor will be officially replaced on the ballot by the Democratic State Central Committee. A source familiar with the decision tells WBEZ's political reporter Sam Hudzik that the governor's pick will be Sheila Simon. She's the daughter of the late U.S. Senator Paul Simon, and a law professor at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. Sam tells us what happens next.
