In 2007, the song, “Superstar” propelled two Windy City musicians —rapper Lupe Fiasco and singer/songwriter Matthew Santos — onto the national scene. Now Santos, whose vocals you just heard, is back with a new CD slated for release next year. It’s called This Burning Ship of Fools. And while it’s not yet out – you can hear some of it tomorrow night, when Santos performs a preview show at Chicago’s Lincoln Hall. Richard Steele recently sat down with Santos, who came to our studios, guitar in hand.
