Chicago Police officers who worked under former commander Jon Burge could face charges in the near future. The area 2 officers are known as “The Midnight Crew” and they’ve denied harming suspects. But yesterday, Chicago’s NBC 5 and the Chicago Sun-Times reported that a federal grand jury will investigate their role in allegedly ongoing torture in the 1970s and ’80s.
