The government now allows you to "jailbreak" your smart phone. That is, circumvent security measures that limit what apps you can have on your phone, and which service providers you can go with. Nilay Patel is the managing editor of the online tech site, Engadget.com, and he talks about new exemptions to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, and what it means for consumers.
