Sunday the Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers will meet to decide who will represent the NFC in the 2011 Super Bowl. But there’s a whole lot more at stake in this game: The teams haven’t met in the post-season since 1941. And hands down, football’s greatest rivalry is between the Bears and the Pack.

In part, that’s because it goes way back, to the early days of the NFL. And it was cemented by two long-standing leaders of the Bears and the Packers - George Halas and Vince Lombardi. They also helped define the NFL – the NFC trophy is named for Halas and the Super Bowl trophy is named for Lombardi.
