The final days of an election generally involve a flurry of political ads and last minute campaign stops. But rumors of potential voter intimidation and voter fraud are also in the air. Conservatives and Tea Party activists around the country plan to police the polls.

Political science professor at the University of Illinois in Chicago Dick Simpson helped us sort things out.

Simpson is also author of numerous books, including Inside Urban Politics and Rogues, Rebels and Rubber Stamps: The Politics of the Chicago City Council from 1863 to the Present.
