In honor of Chicago’s annual Puerto Rican Parade Eight Forty-Eight did a special live broadcast from Division St., in front of WBEZ’s bureau in Chicago’s Humboldt Park neighborhood. The big parade may take place downtown but all the action is in and around Humboldt Park.
Host Alison Cuddy recently took a rainy day tour of this neighborhood’s namesake, Humboldt Park. Her guide was Enrique Salgado Junior, the tech organizer at Humboldt Park’s Smart Communities.
