This election, citizens won’t just decide who to vote for. For many, the question is whether or not to vote at all. That’s not unusual. Midterm elections typically have low voter turnout. But on the next stop of our Election Road Trip, Richard Steele found a panel of men rarin’ to vote. Bloomington, Illinois, is home to the Illinois Farm Bureau.

Darryl Brinkman is from the town of Carlyle, in southwestern Illinois. Gerald Thompson farms in Colfax, just outside of Bloomington. And Dale Hadden has a farm west of Springfield, in Jacksonville. They all sat down around Gerald’s kitchen table for a chat.
