Inspiration Behind Anima Youth Chorus

Anima, a youth choral group, was founded in 1964 under the name of the Glen Ellyn Children's Theater Chorus. The four-time Grammy award-winning program invites young people from kindergarten through high school to develop their singing skills in a communal atmosphere. Their newest project is Echoes in Time: Living the Divine. It's a cantata that uses text from sacred poets and is composed by Daniel Brewbaker. He and Anima Artistic Director Emily Ellsworth discuss the latest work.
