Earlier this year, President Barack Obama asserted his commitiment to high speed rail. Yesterday, the non-profit business backed agency Chicago Metropolis 2020 supported that commitment. They released a report that details the importance of transportation in producing long term employment and economic expansion. Their statewide report offers recommendations to create jobs and reduce transportation costs.
