Jonathan Miller Reviews New Mumblecore Film 'Beeswax'

The man who's been called the “godfather of the mumble-core movement” is back with another film. The movement refers to low-budget films that examine relationships between twenty-somethings. The characters are generally played by off-the-map actors who often improvise their scripts. The movie Beeswax has its Chicago premiere tonight at the Gene Siskel Film Center. Eight Forty-Eight film critic Jonathan Miller brings us this sneak peak.

Through Thurs. Feb. 11
Gene Siskel Film Center
You can catch filmmaker Andrew Bujalski at screenings today through Sun. Feb. 7
