Jerichow is German filmmaker Christian Petzold's reworking of The Postman Always Rings Twice, and Seraphine is a biopic by French filmmaker Martin Provost, and examines the life of so-called “primitivist” painter, Séraphine Louis. Both films have short runs at the Music Box Theatre in Chicago, and film critic Jonathan Miller has these reviews.
