Today, jurors will begin deliberating the fate of someone former Streets and Sanitation Commissioner Al Sanchez. He was in on a widespread scheme at our city government to give jobs to people who did political work. But Sanchez's defense attorneys are pointing the finger at Mayor Daley, saying any and all political hires were done by the mayor's office. WBEZ's Robert Wildeboer watched yesterday as lawyers made their final pitches to jurors in closing arguments.
