Lisa Madigan Stays Put, Illinois Political Landscape Shifts

After months of speculation, Attorney General Lisa Madigan announced yesterday that she will not run for governor in 2010. She will instead seek a third term to continue her work. If she never gets another shot at higher office she says she'll be okay. With less than seven months to go before Illinois' primary election, WBEZ's political reporter Sam Hudzik talks about what this surprise could bring.
