March can be a tricky month in Chicago. It may officially be spring, but that doesn’t mean the city won’t see more snow. And there were plenty of other comings and goings this month. Police Superintendent Jody Weis announced he was leaving the Chicago Police Department. Governor Quinn ushered out the state’s death penalty. And Democratic lawmakers from Indiana headed home. Meanwhile, there’s also expansion at O’Hare, a possible championship season for the Bulls and new wrangling over nuclear power in the wake of Japan’s disaster.
