Mary Dillon spent just under five years bringing her brain to bear at McDonald’s. She’s the executive who helped the fast food behemoth weather both tough economic times and an even tougher image problem – being the poster child for America’s obesity epidemic. And she’s done it all while raising four children – now that is tough! So it’s no surprise that local company U.S. Cellular went after her. Eight Forty-Eight business contributor David Greising talks to us about Dillon’s legacy at McDonald’s and what her departure means for the future of the company.
