Memory of Fire Ignites Millennium Park

Uruguayan author Eduardo Galeano's epic trilogy, Memory of Fire, tells the story of the Americas. He does this by writing about people, myths, cultures and legendary figures in hundreds of vignettes. In honor of Mexico's bicentennial of independence, and 100th anniversary of the revolution, a group of Chicago students are bringing Galeano´s writing to the stage. For WBEZ, Catalina Maria Johnson has the story behind the Latino Theatre Festival's performance of Memory of Fire.
