Nine percent of the vote wasn’t near enough to make Miguel del Valle the next Mayor of Chicago but he says he’s not going away anytime soon. Though the former City Clerk does say he’s finished with City Hall, Del Valle will pursue his progressive agenda through other means.
Eight Forty-Eight spoke to Del Valle Thursday morning. He is the outgoing City Clerk of Chicago and vied unsuccessfully for Mayor of Chicago, losing to Mayor-elect Rahm Emanuel.
