The Scottish poet John Logan once said, “Music is the medicine of the mind.” It turns out it’s equally good medicine for the body. Studies show the sound of music improves blood flow, reduces chronic pain, and lessens depression. Making that mind-body connection is the focus of a pair of Chicago-area musicians.
