The National Urban League, dedicated to empowering African-Americans, convenes in Chicago today for the start of its annual conference. The theme this year is the path to power with a focus is on jobs and entrepreneurship. Prominent speakers in business, politics, and entertainment will offer insights to attendees and representatives from Urban League branches from around the country.
