Much of attorney Joey Mogul’s work has focused on violations against clients’ civil rights. And she’s turned that focus toward one group in particular-gays, lesbians and transgender people. Along with two co-authors, Mogul documents these events in Queer Injustice: The Criminalization of LGBT People in the United States. She talked to Eight Forty-Eight’s Alison Cuddy recently, and began with a local case where the accused’s perceived sexuality played a major role in the ruling.

Joey Mogul talks about Queer Injustice: The Criminalization of LGBT People in the United States on Sunday, March 12 at the Museum of Science and Industry.

She will also discuss the book Tuesday, March 29 at 12:15 p.m. University of Chicago Law School.
