New Book Explores More Subtle Tactics to Revive the Recession

Jumpstarting the economy is going to require major effort but there are other policy areas where a more subtle approach could work. That’s the premise of a new book called Nudge: Improving Decisions About Health, Wealth, and Happiness. The authors are University of Chicago economics professor Richard Thaler and law professor Cass Sunstein.

And their ideas have the ear of President Obama – Sunstein has been tapped to oversee new regulations in the administration. Thaler recently talked with Eight Forty-Eight’s Alison Cuddy.
