Of course, revamping health care and ending the war in Afghanistan aren’t the only major projects on President Barack Obama’s ambitious agenda. Yesterday, Obama unveiled another plan that he says will create new jobs for the millions of Americans out of work. This should come as especially good news to folks in the Chicago area, where a recent survey showed the job outlook will be worse in early 2010 than in the nation as a whole. But will the President’s plan give the Midwest a significant boost? Eight Forty-Eight business contributor David Greising helps us tease apart the threads in the wide world of unemployment.
