There are still more questions than answers about why Cook County President Todd Stroger fired his cousin from her post as CFO. He fired Donna Dunning after it came to light that she had twice bailed out an assistant, Tony Cole, who already had a string of arrests on his record. County commissioners tried to get Stroger to explain why it took so long to fire Cole after county officials became aware of his criminal record.
