Writer S.L. Wisenberg knows pain. She underwent a number of breast cancer treatments. A few years ago, we aired her audio diary, which tracked her painful battles and her progress.

The diary was the basis of a blog, “Cancer Bitch,” which eventually led to a book.

Monday, we revisited an entry in which Wisenberg has just come to a disturbing realization.  “L” is Wisenberg’s husband. Wisenberg is a professor at Northwestern University and author of the award-winning book “The Adventures of Cancer Bitch.”
