The circus has hit town which means the Blackhawks and Bulls have hit the road, where both teams have a lot to prove.
Meanwhile a different set of acts are unfolding at the “Friendly Confines” on Chicago’s North Side: Northwestern takes on the Illini in the AllState Wrigleyville Classic on Saturday; the first time there’s been gridiron action on that field in four decades.
And the Ricketts family is talking up a “now you get it, now you don’t deal,” that would net them $200 million in state bonds to renovate the ball park.
