State Police Get Veteran as New Director

Illinois Governor Pat Quinn appointed 29-year-old Iraq veteran Jonathan Monken to lead the state police. Critics say the Army commander is too young and inexperienced to command a force of hundreds of Troopers. He's already on the job as Director of the Illinois State Police even as he awaits confirmation from the state Senate.
