The 18-year-old weekly publication StreetWise might fold as soon as June if it can’t find more foundation support. The magazine is sold by the homeless. StreetWise once provided job placement and counseling to its vendors. But in an effort to cut costs, StreetWise slashed that service, other staff positions and switched from a newspaper to a magazine. StreetWise Executive Director Bruce Crane says those changes and others are helping them stay afloat.
