This weekend, Hyde Park will sway to the sounds of Jazz. It’s the neighborhood’s 4th annual Jazz Festival. Throughout the one-day event, you’ll be able to catch a whole range of performers at no less than 13 different venues. But there are other things making Hyde Park a hub for jazz. A number of jazz musicians call Hyde Park their home. And the University of Chicago houses the vast Chicago Jazz Archive Collection, accessible to scholars and fans alike.
