State democrats are putting increasing pressure on Illinois' Senator Roland Burris to explain his contact with aides to former Governor Rod Blagojevich. Burris says there is nothing inconsistent between his original testimony before state legislators during the impeachment hearings and his recently filed affidavit. Though he realized he left out some details regarding his contact with Blagojevich prior to his Senate appointment, he says he quickly disclosed them.
