The Rise of Black Conservative Movement in Politics

A record number of black conservatives could be headed off to Congress after this November's elections. Currently there are no black Republicans serving in the House or Senate. So if three of the current black conservative candidates win, that would mean more black conservatives would be serving in the House simultaneously since Reconstruction.

But does the number of black conservatives on the national level shine any light on what's happening locally? To learn more we speak with Lenny McAllister, a conservative activist and host of WVON's Launching Chicago with Lenny McAllister

He's also the author of the forthcoming book Diary of a Mad Black PYC (Proud Young Conservative): The Obama Era Part I.
