The music of Will Oldham has gone by many names—Palace Brothers, Palace Music— more recently Bonnie “Prince” Billy. Now the Louisville, Kentucky, native has joined up with The Cairo Gang. That’s the musical project of Chicagoan Emmett Kelly. Kelly and Oldham have been playing together a few years. The most recent result of their partnership is the new record The Wonder Show of the World. It’s out now on Drag City Records. Will Oldham and Emmett Kelly talk about their lates collaboration and perform.
