The Sophisticated Cissies is a local band which draws its members from acts like Bumpus, The HUE and Marvin Tate, to name a few. This is their version of the song “Just Kissed My Baby” by The Meters, one of New Orleans most beloved bands.

Every year the Cissies pay tribute to the many musicians of the Big Easy who fled the city after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. The benefit is tonight at Schubas, raises money for the New Orleans Habitat Musicians’ Village and its Ellis Marsalis Center for Music.
