End times gets some people thinking about meal time. But Monte LaMonte approaches everyday like it’s his last chance to dine out. Most days of the week the blogger and performer is on a mission: to find a good meal at a good deal.

Monte joined Eight Forty-Eight as The Weekly Guide. In honor of the show’s last day theme, he’s brought some ideas about where to eat when running out of time.

Monte’s Last Meals in Chicago:
1.) Birchwood Kitchen: Head there for a burger and basil infused lemonade.

2.) Mama Luna’s: Monte likes the fried chicken and Italian beef pizza.

3.) Pleasant House Bakery: Monte goes there for meat pies.

4.) Ras Dashen: Goes there for veggie combo and tilapia.

5.) Jimmy’s Red Hots: Monte says it’s the classic rubber hot dog and french fries. Simple, yet tasty Vienna beef rubber dogs with fresh cut fries

6.) Mr. D’s Shish-Kabobs: Monte would go for a Rib-eye sandwich or kabob.
