Anyone who’s been around teenagers can report being confused by the way the young mind works or why “bad seeds” continue to murder each other. While it doesn’t promise any answers, a new play written and performed by young people attempts to shed a sliver of light into adolescence. To Kill a Teenager: Seven Sins of the Juvenile Mind is currently on stage at the youth ensemble Free Street Theater. The production is led by Artistic Director Ron Bieganski. He and Free Street ensemble members Giovanni Gonzalez and Ashley Johnson recently joined me to talk about the project. Bieganski says the company thoroughly researched the content of the play.
