R and B artist Heather Headley credits much of her success to her time in the Midwest. She’s won both a Tony and a Grammy. But before that, the native Trinidadian was a high school student in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and a college student at Northwestern University. This weekend Headley returns for the Goodman Theatre’s annual gala. The program raises money for the theatre’s community and education programs.
