For the last few days, hundreds of thousands of people have been traveling to Washington D.C. to see Barack Obama take the oath of office.  An enormous number of people are from his hometown of Chicago, and his home state of Illinois.

WBEZ’s Ben Calhoun has been following one group who encountered a number of travel delays and was hours behind on their trip. The last time we heard from Ben he was at a rest stop on the Pennsylvania turnpike. He finally made it to D.C., and brought us an update on his trip to cover this historic event.
