Updates from the Cook County Assessor's debate and forum

When voters go to the polls on November 2 they will chose a candidate for Attorney General. But further down the ballot – much further – they’ll also face a choice in one of the more closely watched local races this election season. The Cook County Assessor race is generally low profile. But this year, four candidates are vying to replace retiring assessor Jim Houlihan. The group has held back-to-back public appearances this week, including a debate this morning over breakfast. WBEZ's Chip Mitchell has an update on those events.
