With the holidays right around the corner, life could get overwhelming fast. Sometimes a person just wants to stay home and curl up with a good book—or go out shopping for some! John Rich is founder of Chicago Writers House is all about making that happen. The mobile collective of writers and community organizers bring book sales, literary discussions and writing sessions to Chicago neighborhoods. Over the weekend Chicago Writers House co-hosts the first-ever Chicago Book Expo 2011 in the Uptown neighborhood. So Eight Forty-Eight asked Rich to join the show as The Weekly Guide.
