What's Hurting Condo Sales in Chicago?
People hoping for a housing market rebound have felt more optimistic lately. Sales of homes in Illinois climbed four percent in July compared with June, but they're still lower than July of last year. If you dig deeper, you'll find that sales of single-family homes are doing well and condo sales are doing poorly. David Hanna, the president of the Chicago Association of Realtors and managing partner of Prudential SourceOne Realty, gives us the inside scoop.
