Wicker Park Gallery Celebrates Ox-bow's Centennial

One hundred years ago, some folks affiliated with the School of the Art Institute created a haven in a natural landscape called Ox-bow, where artists and students could find inspiration – and peace – to develop their creativity. In honor of the school's centennial, Corbett vs. Dempsey took on the task of surveying the school's artistic accomplishments since 1910. We caught up with Betsy Rupprecht, whose parents were key figures in Ox-Bow's early history, and Corbett vs. Dempsey co-founder John Corbett at his gallery in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood.

The Ox-Bow Centennial: Historic exhibition runs through August 21 at Corbett vs. Dempsey in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood.
