To say that there’s a profound respect and love for Chicago music here at WBEZ is an understatement. And while we’d like to think we’ve become immune to being “star struck”, every once and a while we just can’t help it. For Jason, drummer and percussionist Glenn Kotche, best known for his work with Chicago’s Wilco, leaves him in awe. But like most members of the band, Glenn has side projects. He currently has a solo release out entitled Mobile. Eight Forty-Eight’s Jason Marck caught up with Kotche back in 2006, and brought us this profile.
