Real movie turkeys can be a joy to watch. You know, something so bad it’s good. But just because a film is a flop, doesn’t mean it is all bad.

Just ask Nathan Rabin.  He dedicated his latest book to some of his favorite flops, and he writes to defend not bury them!

He does so winningly in My Year of Flops: The A.V. Club Presents One Man’s Journey Deep into the Heart of Cinematic Failure.

 When I sat down with Rabin recently he began by saying the most unexpected films can become fan favorites.
