We lost good friend to WBEZ—and Chicago—Studs Terkel in October. As the ultimate storyteller and interviewer, Studs’ work provides a benchmark for many of his colleagues, including Chicago Tribune’s Rick Kogan, who wrote his friend’s obituary for the paper.

Tonight, Kogan joins Eight Forty-Eight Book Critic Donna Seaman and acclaimed author Alex Kotlowitz to talk about Studs Terkel’s life and legacy. It’s part of Chicago’s Columbia College Story Week Events. They’ll all gather tonight at 6 at the Spertus Institute of Jewish Studies Feingold Theater.
